This page explains the limits of the information on fairplay.law (the “Site”), which is operated by FairPlay Law, PLLC (“FairPlay Law” or “the Firm”). Please read it together with our Website Terms of Use and the other policies linked in the Site footer.
1. No Legal Advice
The content on the Site — including articles, guides, videos, FAQs, and any AI Report you obtain through the FairPlay Analytics portal — is general information and education. It is not legal advice, and it is not tailored to your situation. Employment law varies by state, and outcomes turn on facts. Do not act, or decide not to act, based on anything you read or receive through the Site without advice from a licensed attorney who has reviewed your specific circumstances. 2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Reading the Site, contacting the Firm, submitting the contact form, subscribing to the newsletter, requesting or receiving an AI Report, or scheduling a consultation does not make you a client of FairPlay Law. An attorney-client relationship with the Firm is formed only when you and the Firm sign a written engagement agreement. Until then, the Firm has not agreed to represent you and has no obligation to take your matter or to act on your behalf — including no obligation to monitor deadlines that may apply to your situation. Statutes of limitations and contractual deadlines (such as the deadline to sign or revoke a severance agreement) can expire quickly; if you have a deadline, do not wait to seek counsel.
3. If You Contact Us as a Prospective Client
If you reach out about possibly hiring the Firm, you are a prospective client, and the Firm treats information you choose to share in that conversation in accordance with its professional obligations to prospective clients. That treatment has limits you should understand:
Sharing information with us does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not mean the Firm will take your matter.
Before the Firm has completed a conflict check, please limit what you share to what we ask for. Do not send documents or detailed confidential information through the contact form or by unsolicited email; if we need more from you, we will tell you how to provide it securely.
Communications sent over the internet outside the Firm’s secure channels may not be secure or confidential.
Information you provide when requesting an AI Report is shared with FairPlay Global, Inc. with your consent, as described at the point of transfer and in Section 5 below.
4. No Guarantees; Prior Results
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every matter is different, and results depend on facts, law, and circumstances unique to each situation. Nothing on the Site — including case descriptions, client stories, statistics, or the analysis in any AI Report — is a promise or guarantee about the outcome of your matter, the value of any claim, or the results of any negotiation.
Any client testimonial or endorsement appearing on the Site is published with the client’s written informed consent, reflects that client’s individual experience, and is subject to the same rule: prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
5. The FairPlay Analytics AI Report
The complimentary AI Report offered through the Site is produced by FairPlay Analytics, a product of FairPlay Global, Inc., an affiliated technology company in which our attorneys, Sanjay Kamlani, David Perla, and Darah Okeke also have a controlling equity interest. FairPlay Global is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The AI Report is generated by the FairPlay Analytics platform; it is not prepared, reviewed, or approved by FairPlay Law or its attorneys. It is an informational and educational tool designed to help you understand your documents and decide whether to seek legal advice — it is not a legal opinion, a case evaluation, or advice about what you should do. AI-generated analysis can contain errors or omissions, and it does not account for facts and context outside the documents and information you provide. 6. Jurisdictional Limitations
FairPlay Law’s attorneys are admitted to practice in New York, Maryland, and the District of Columbia; each attorney’s admissions are listed in their biography on this site. California matters are handled in association with licensed California co-counsel. The Site is not an offer to represent you in any jurisdiction where doing so would be inconsistent with applicable law or rules of professional conduct.
7. Third-Party Credentials, Content, and Links
References on the Site to companies, law firms, publications, or institutions where FairPlay’s founders, attorneys, or team members have worked, served, or been recognized describe their individual experience as former employees, founders, or consultants (or, where stated, current advisors or consultants). Those references do not indicate that any such organization endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with FairPlay Law or FairPlay Global. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only; the Firm does not control and is not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.
8. Limitation of Reliance and Liability
The Site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FairPlay Law disclaims liability for actions taken or not taken based on the content of the Site or any AI Report obtained through it. Nothing on this page limits or modifies the Firm’s professional obligations to its clients under a signed engagement agreement, and nothing on this page limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
