Rengan Rajaratnam podcast — full arc from PwC to two startups to FairPlay

Rengan Rajaratnam and I met in 1994 at a NetIP (Network of Indian Professionals) event at Bombay Palace in Midtown Manhattan. Thirty years later he sat me down for his podcast, and he didn't let me off easy.

We covered the full arc from a lawyer at PwC to two startup exits with personal twists along the way, what I'd do differently, and why I'm starting over with FairPlay. He asked if I feel it in my bones, the way I felt with Pangea3 where our lead seed investor saw a 10X return.

I said yes. Without hesitating.

The idea behind FairPlay reflects the same pattern as Pangea3. Something hiding in plain sight that no one has fixed. 65 million professionals earning $70K or more sign employment agreements and separation agreements multiple times in their career, most with no legal guidance. More than 100,000 have been laid off in the 1st quarter of this year alone. Their employers have lawyers. Most of them don't.

We're already changing outcomes for people who had nowhere else to turn.
